With New Years Eve 2008 approaching, it’s time for another new beginning.

On behalf of noo, welcome to our new blog! It’s been about 3 years since we’ve been battling in the trenches trying to grow our New York New Years Eve event listing service. As we approach our 3rd season I’ve finally got a little more time to give interested readers some insight into what goes on in a nooYear’s season. Our team is going to try and post a few times a week until the end of 2007. It’s another exciting year of change and growth and we’re really excited to be exploring some new opportunities this year on different fronts and working with new team members.

Since we’re starting 3 years late, expect some initial postings that take you back into our history and others that take you forward into our dreams. Daily challenges and experiences we face as a small company will most definitely be topic for discussion too. We’ll also highlight some cool New Years Eve parties (our annual nooStars), give some commentary about New Years, and generally ramble on about relevant topics.

For your first piece of history, here’s a link back to 6F legacies. This was the blog I attempted to start in January 2005 with my roommate at the time from our apartment on East 27th St. in Manhattan, literally days after an idea hit me. Over a couple of years a bedroom gradually converted into a 4 person office separated from my bed by Ikea cupboards. Now we’re near Bryant Park growing out of our office yet again. Woohoo!
