NYCNYE, New Years Eve 2004

November 9th, 2007 · No Comments

That’s how it all started. Two guys, Mahdad and Felix, mid November, at 6F, still working from the bedroom. It was monkey business, literally. It took a mishire and a saving angel, Philip, to even get NYCNYE.com afloat to discover New York City New Years Eve in 2004. But as a small joint venture between TVI Designs and Funk This Entertainment, we realized that the name had its limitations. The lessons we learned that year? “Make it memorable”, “make it easy”, and “make it big”. And so in January 2005, after much thinking and sleepless nights, NYCNYE became the seed that blossomed into noo. Felix and Mahdad amicably decided this one was a solo mission. Felix thought Mahdad was crazy. He probably still does.

Three years later, Mahdad, Philip and Felix, while still continuing on with other side ventures and projects, are back together to show what we’ve learned and what more we can do. Stay tuned!
